About Me

In terms of basic facts, my name is Simone Elaine Carter born April 29th 1992, and I am currently enrolled as a freshman at Howard University. I live with my mom, dad, and younger brother who raised me in a comfortable and stable Christian household and taught me to be the well-rounded African American woman I am today. I was raised in predominately white communities so as the minority, I was forced to fit myself into "white" customs and ethics while having to attain my African American values as well. From that experience, I am very open minded about the diversity between people and races and have grown to appreciate my culture immensely. I am strong-minded and very opinionated which are two qualities I have used to represent my place in this world. As much as I wish to tell more about myself, after 19 years and 9 undisclosed months, being able to fully explain myself is a near impossible thing to do.
